You have successfully assembled your eGo-T electronic cigarette and are ready to pull some sweet vapour. Let’s get to it!
Step 1 – Turning on your eGo-T battery
Press the operation button on the battery 5 times rapidly, which will cause it to flash blue as it turns on. (To turn it off, simply press the button 5 times rapidly again.)
Step 2 – Drawing vapour into your mouth
Hold down the battery button so it glows blue, and inhale gently and steadily for 3-5 seconds. Long slow drags work best.
Pull the vapour into your mouth only, as it is too thick to try to pull directly into your lungs.
Release the button when you’re done.
Step 3 – Drawing vapour into your lungs
Now you can pull your mouthful of vapour down into your lungs. Hold it there for a few seconds to allow any nicotine in the vapour to absorb into your system.
Exhale and repeat as desired.
Additional Vaping Tips
Be patient with the vapour
When you first start to vape, you may experience coughing or an irritated throat, even if you’ve been smoking for years. This is because tobacco smoke is dry and light, whereas e-liquid vapour is wet and thick. Your body may need a few minutes to adjust to the vapour’s heavier consistency. Don’t be discouraged if you find vaping uncomfortable at first, as most people get used to it very quickly.
Be patient with the nicotine
If your e-liquid vapour contains nicotine, you might not get the “instant hit” that many people experience with smoking tobacco, because smoke delivers nicotine to the bloodstream more rapidly than vapour does. So you may need to puff for a minute or two longer in order to feel the equivalent nicotine buzz.
Be patient with other people
Some people might not know that second-hand vapour is non-toxic and that using an electronic cigarette indoors is both safe and legal. If you are challenged about your decision to vape indoors, politely explain that what you are doing is not harmful. If the concerned bystander is not convinced, use your best judgement on whether or not you should continue.
